Nobody Knows

Nobody knows the life I live, the purpose of my fight
Nobody knows there's a strugle in my spirit, and I want to do what's right

Nobody knows that behind the scenes there's and angel waiting and a devil preying
Nobody knows that while patiently waiting, somehow my faith is fading

I doubt who I am, because of the choices I've made;
I tremble in fear because of the bed that I once laid
Am I in fear of the Lord?? OH yes, because it is His spirit has been provoked
And nobody knows that for my own sake I sometime lose hope

I am just a simple person, nothing really important about me
But in fear, I hide because all I did was tried to be the best me
Don't try it, just do it and don't say "I'm sorry", just don't do it again
Be glad that you said "i do" to the Lord and be truly forgiven for your sin

I want the home in glory, the mansion that waits for me
I know that i'm not good enough, but that's just how much He loves me
My life will flash before my eyes and exactly what could I say??
That instead of using what you gave me, I wasted the time away?

Nobody knows the questions that linger in my mind
Nobody knows that we've all come short and about to run out of time

That with every morning that I rise , I am given another chance, to go another round
That all I want to do is get to heaven and make my Father proud
