Faith
As winter exits and spring arrives. I narrate the story of the conviction, crucifixion and resurrection of our Messiah Jesus Christ. I can’t help but to revisit the agonizing time Jesus experienced in the garden called Gethsemane. How did he do it? Knowing the separation from the Father was upon him. Mark 14:38 explains Peter’s inability to stay awake and Jesus explains why the struggle of life exists. “As the sprit is willing enough, the body is weak.” Now, as Jesus is about to pay for our sins, Peter the rock falls asleep. In these times we are faced with great struggle. War, Poverty, Disease and Mankind cruelty spread throughout the world. I understand what Jesus meant; stay awake less temptation will overpower you “For though the sprit is willing enough, the body is weak.” Let this week not pass us by without addressing those things close to your sprit. Give attention to what God seeks in you and not of this world. We the people have fallen asleep and Jesus is here waking us up saying, “Can’t you stay awake and watch with me even for an hour?” Let us not lose anymore time, for we no not the hour of His coming. The Lord might show up and remove that disease or stumbling block from our work place. His coming can be at anytime and if we are asleep we know not He came? All that is known, He woke us up saying Sill resting? Enough! The time has come.
You see, the world will operate in a business as usual and those who love this world know not the signs of the Kingdom. I thank my Lord Jesus Christ that our Father’s wisdom is upon us for we understand the time of resting is to come. So, stay awake and be preparing for the Blessing of the Lord is near.
