Faith

Not long ago, the Holy Spirit said to me during my prayer time, "Faith is not cheap. It cost's you something."

I had been studying more in depth on hope, faith and love. What I'm sharing here is not an article or a teaching but rather, it's to share some "nugget's" that will be food for study, prayer and meditation.

Faith will always take you OUT of the place of comfort and lead you INTO a place of miracles. EXAMPLE:Peter stepping out of comfortable place, the boat, and being led into a place of miracles---he walked on the water with Jesus.

Faith is not comfortable.
Faith is a challenge of your heart to believe God and expect the extra ordinary blessings of God (Eph.3:20).

Faith will require of you everything you have. Even for a drink of water in the middle of a severe drought (I Kings 17:10).

Faith will require a 'seed' from your hand when you barely have anything left in it. Faith will even ask you for 'whats left.'

Faith will ask you for total obedience to God, even when it doesn't make sense to your natural mind. You obey God and pay the cost anyway. When you do this, you've just opened the door to God's supernatural provision, even in the midst of what seems totally impossible.

When that thing you're facing right now looks totally impossible, this is when God moves in on the scene, as it were, with a miracle for you. Miracles are an answer to the voice of faith. Is there a cost to faith in God? Yes! To have faith in God and His Word, to trust Him to do everything He's promised, it will cost you.

You've been bought with the price of the blood of Jesus. To purchase you from the enemy's bondage to sin, it costed Jesus His very life. To receive the delivering power of the blood of Jesus to save you, heal you and protect you, etc., it will cost you to put your life on the altar and give it back to God as a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1). Your life is not your own.
