Poetry
Today, my emotion
blends together like
colors in a rainbow.
Smiles slide into heartache,
heartache into despair
but I don't worry.
The clouds grow heavy because
that is the nature of clouds
and as they do, my tears fall.
One by one they sweep
down my cheeks
and sink into my past,
and with each tear
the clouds grow smaller
until a vapor catches the sun.
A rainbow appears.
Despair blends into joy and
my soul reflects God's beauty.
