I imagined I was in a room, the floor and walls were bare, in the far wall there was a door, inviting me to look in there.

I rose and walked till I was close, I could see the rusted lock and peeling paint, and it made me wonder why it looked so unused, then I saw the writing on it in ink so faint.

It said that inside were all the blessings that were mine that I chose to ignore, and if I had the key to the lock, I could have them and even more.

Then I noticed that Someone was standing beside me, He'd been there all along, and now when I listened, I heard Him say, I am the Key to make right your every wrong.

But first you must accept the gift, invite me into your heart, and then we can open the door of the closet, and give you a brand new start.

I accepted with joy to be made brand new, to be forgiven and filled with His love, and when I turned back, that door was open, and blessings just poured out from above!

Then what did I see, hidden way in the back, but the hidden desire of my heart come true, for there was the greatest joy just waiting for me, my heart overflowed, for there stood you!

Oh what blessings God has given me, each day HIs mercies are new, and every day I give such joyful thanks, for the love I have in you!
