I am a minister of the Word of God, and teach and preach it in the Evangelical calling.

I live in southeastern Kentucky. But until I was recently married, and moved my son and I to this location, I resided in Tucson Az, where I worked in the transportation business, and was starting out in ministry.

I went to the Tucson area on the 1st of February to work in the old business I was in with my old partner. I was to work the Gem and mineral show to make money for 2 weeks driving people around, and then go back home. It was an opportunity to make some good money in my old business, so I took advantage of it.

On February 15th, I was resting in my old room, in the apartment my old roomate and I shared. He was home watching T.V. and I was taking a nap, when I heard a very loud bang. It was the kind of bang you would hear if someone was pounding out a dent in a dented car. I didn't think much of it, until I heard it again. This time when I heard it, my roomate came running into my room, and told me there was a young man at the fenceline, where the houses from another neighborhood bordered our complex, and there were fences and locked gates, and no-way to get into the propeties, unless you could nimbly jump fences. We both ran to the fence, where the young man was, and he was visibly scared, upset, and on the phone to someone. It turned out to be 911.

He was screaming, "please don't die Meahgan, please don't die." He was screaming this, and trying to talk to the other person on the phone. I couldn't tell why he was so upset. I came to the locked gate. The kind of gate you would see at a motel swimming pool. All steel, and no place to get a foothold, or to jump it. I looked down, and there was a young girl, very young. I could see nothing but blood, and she had clearly shot herself. Once in the chest, which was easy to see. Once in the head, which was easier to see. She was breathing in a very short shallow manner. She was dying. I couldn't get to her. I couldn't even lay hands on her to pray for her with contact. Her brother Conner was screaming for me to help her. He was pleading with me. I could see the desperation in his eyes. There was a half empty Vodka bottle nearby. She bled so much. She died right there. Right there in front of me. In front of my roomate. In front of her 17 year old brother.

The police, and paramedics came. Asked their questions, found the gun nearby that she had shot herself with. I was so hurt, and confused. I thought that I had seen it all, in my life of past disfunction. I was grieving for this girls family, and especially her brother Conner.

I wasn't able to attend her funeral. She wasn't Saved from what I could glean from her family. But I never write that in stone. It isn't up to me to do that. I did find myself in the position to minister to her family.

I didn't know what to say. I didn't know how to help them. I just listened to the voice of the Holy Spirit, and took it from there. How do you minister to a family, that you witnessed the self murder of their daughter? I found myself witnessing to alot of her friends, and ministering to them over the internet, over the next few months. God took what Satan meant for evil, and used it to help me plant seeds of Salvation in others lives.

The family left their home, and moved. I don't blame them. Sometimes a fresh start, starts in a fresh place. I do know this. They know more about the Lord, than they did before Meahgans death. Praise you Lord.
