Single tear drop why do you fall?
Whispered memories bouncing off deaf walls,
Hollow, empty afraid of the past,
Silent lonely tear drop falls.

Like the rain on the window pane..
Single tear turns to many and it starts again,
As I turn my head away and hide,
Afraid of pain, afraid of the pouring rain.

Can you heal me Lord I cry,
Can you take these wounds and heal them?
Am I scared here for life…
Silent and fading.

Sometimes in the course of life,
The wound needs to be rebroken,
For true healing, for true hope to enter,
Yet these are torments unspoken.

I know you promise your grace,
I know you promise your love,
I know I trust you completely.
And that this will pass.

As always my Father I cling,
To these dreams you have given me,
And though the pain sears through,
In your love I hide.
