Heart Treasures

Timing is everything!
*It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon in Leesburg. The grass was green and the trees had an interesting rainbow of red, yellows and browns. It was a sunny day and the weather was just perfect. With my guitar in hand I walked towards a wooden bench and sat under a tree. I was having a casual conversation with a friend that led to singing a song that we had just learned in a morning session at a retreat.
*This song we now know as our song. It’s first line was “Open the eyes of my heart Lord”. We sang with our hearts and soon others joined us. We all sang the song over and over and every word was a true and sincere prayer from each one of us to the Lord. Then the unplanned happened. My friend and I looked at each other as we were singing, and for a second it seemed as if everything stopped. We couldn’t fully understand it, but we knew at that moment, a very special exchange had taken place. We saw each other in a different light. We knew that our futures had been sealed as one and that we had found that special person that God had separated for us. Five months later we pledged our love to each other before God, family and friends.
*Five years have passed and we still remember that beautiful day when God not only open our spiritual eyes to know Him more, but also opened our eyes to the reality of His perfect timing and plan for every aspect of our lives. We will always remember the day and the moment that our love was born.
*God will complete his plan in your life. He will busy himself with what concerns you. Stay in God’s hands. You see now, but He sees the complete picture. In every area of our lives timing is everything. We can’t miss it if we stay in His presence .

*To Your Heart *
Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Phil 1:6

But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. James 1:4
