Friends,

Today I want to just speak from the heart about what is happening in the world. The title, "How Can A Tree Attack?" speaks to the newest craze for a Christian holiday--an upside down Christmas tree. I attended an orientation class today and I brought the subject up during a break. Most of those in the group is Christian, and thought it was really "strange" that people would want to even buy one of these trees.

We cannot afford to be amazed at the actions of the enemy. When we took prayer out of schools (at least here in the United States) when abortion became a subject of debate in church (including Catholics), and we as the body of Christ became apathetic to the news, prophecy, or anything that might change our lives from what we wanted them to be. We now have a new assault against the body.

I believe that the attack of the enemy taking a Christmas tree, turning it upside down, putting it in the tree stand as a "new marketing technique." Some would say, "so what." Because some Christians will buy them--watch! I watched a room of "Christians" today laugh when it was brought before the group as a new product. Okay, I'm am not the life of the party in all cases--and especially not in this one. You have taken something I don't believe in anyway (see the scriptures on trees in a stand decorated with gold and silver), but this symbol that is a "Christian" symbol of love and peace of a very special occasion--and desecrated it.

We the body of Christ, the soon to be raptured bride, of Jesus Himself--have a powerful and direct responsibility to protect what has been given to us; to make disciples of the nations; to take back what has been stolen and used inappropriately by the enemy--and his agents!

Further, seeing the bombings in Jordan today, clearly and purposefully launched against westerners--because of our religious beliefs and our democratic political ideology. The western world is the most tolerant of religious beliefs in the world. But my brothers and sisters, I cannot urge you and me to pray enough, in groups, individually, whenever and wherever--take back by faith and by force our rights, our symbols, our rights as Christians.

We must stop allowing people to walk over our rights and beliefs. We have become too tolerant of abuses against our rights. Jesus gave each of us as his joint heirs the power and authority to direct angels, to have authority over all the power of the enemy (that includes demons and dark spirits and satan himself). Take back the gates of your city! Take back the gates of your families and your house. Take back the finances, mental abilities, and spiritual wealth that has been stolen.

How can a tree attack? By mocking your Christian beliefs. Write to the manufactures. Write to the stores who are selling them. Tell them that you are displeased at these trees. And then do something awesome to somebody else and bless them because of the Love of God in you. Show them your Christian character ... but stop letting people walk over what we see as good.
