Now whenever I voice about my problems
I try to do it with a better attitude
For I've found if I add, a bit of humor
It helps not live a life in solitude

For there is nothing that happens to you and I
that our God did not fore-see
Not a day went by that was hid from him
so what was, it was going to be

But even in this it's how we handle things
or we do our best to try
And when God sees us, taking that step
then he comes right on by

He never puts more on us than we can bear
be it of our doing or just a test
He still looks out for us, every time
and he will allow us a little rest

It's part of life rather we want it or not
things do happen and we don't know why
And it's not always easy to accept some things
so it's not wrong if sometimes we cry

At times we feel we can lick every mountain
we try to tackle it in our own strength
But then we'll find out that we do need help
from our God who can go any length

Me I have to admit I don't know it all
and that does give God some room
So to work his stuff, when things get rough
for he's like fire that can consume

His compassion for us goes before and beyond
there is no shortness in his love
And whenever we're down to the last count
he sends us strength from above

Now we are in this race to win
though things seem unfair
But our confidence it must stay in our God
for he knows what we can bear

His grace always is extended to us
not a day will it pass by
So when it's needed our God will send it
for he does hear every cry

So whatever our storm just ride it out
just know that it will not last
Our God he is in the midst of it all
and soon I'd be in the past

The body of Christ is going through a transition
who wants to see it through the end
Then just buckle in and ride out your storm
for with God we can't help but win
