To you O' Lord I give thanks
for helping me out today
Because you know,I couldn't do nothing
or even have a place to stay

I thank you for the little things
that have inspired my every move
I don't forget everything that counts
that some think you have to prove

I'm thanful for the many hardships
that come just like a storm
In knowing the good it will weigh out
so I count it to be no harm

I thank you for the ups and downs
the tests that make me pray
I know you see my tears and sorrows
so I'm trusting in you all the way
