Poetry

High upon the mountaintop
The world lay at my feet
I reach to pull the heavens down
And listen as you speak
From here I see your careful plan
I feel your tender touch
Lord let me stay on the mountaintop
From here I can do so much

Damp and cold this valley is
So dark I cannot see
I break the eerie stillness crying
Lord please speak to me
From here I cannot see your plan
I cannot feel your touch
And then he whispers low to me
From here I can do so much
