I lay me down to sleep one night
And vividly I dreamed
That I stood before a multitude
More than I'd ever seen

Somehow I knew I'd won them all
And they were all my sheaves
Then in the next scene I stood
Before the King of KIngs

Even though he smiled at me
A sadness filled his eyes
With that I awakened troubled
I sat up and turned on the light

Padding down the hallway
I stopped to listen to the breathing
Of my precious children
As they lay in their beds slpeeping

'Twas then the Savior spoke to me
And what of these, thine own
If it's souls you want to win for me
You must begin at home

Wow! Awesome. Gives me cold chills. It sure does begin at home. For some reason, I'm reminded of the Word which says that judgment begins at the church. Not real sure why I'm reminded of that scripture since it's not the very impactful point of your poem, except that we are, individually and collectively, the church. But it is the point of your poem that keeps me consistently praying for and teaching my grandchildren, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, etc. Prayerfully, some of it, if not all of it, will sink in. I only know that they will not depart from it, thankfully, because the Word says they will not. Those same teachings will also see my children "home." Sorry for going on and on... sensitive subject. Beautiful, anointed writing! Be blessed!
