Our world may be fast falling apart at the seams!
The light of liberty so faintly gleams.
Our freedoms are being challenged and taken away.
We hear tragic news each and every day!

Hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, earthquakes,
Fierce wars and famines make wise heads shake.
Crime is rampant, pornography rife,
Abuse of a child, parent or wife.

Rape and abortion, numbered in millions,
A national debt reaching to trillions.
Divorce and homosexuality --
All these, a nightmarish reality.

How can men be so cruel to each other,
Deeming them enemies instead of brothers?
Rebelling against government and all restraint,
Vindictive men spawn despair and hearts faint.

Where is there hope? Where can we turn?
Isn't there a remedy, a cure we can learn?
Must mankind on this downward path reel?
How long this helplessness must we feel?

Is there not one who our burden can lift?
Who can stop the current of evil so swift?
We are generating a literal Hell on earth!
Who can give us hope and a brand new birth?

There IS One with such mighty power
Who will take His place in an unknown hour,
He'll not come from Mars or a distant moon
But, be assured, He will come very soon!

He's the Creator, Whose heart is grieved
At the way men's hearts have been deceived.
Satan and sin have been working overtime,
The hearts of men to capture and bind.

But his time is short, his doom is near
And he fears the moment Christ will appear
In the clouds of heaven, bright as the sun,
To proclaim that Satan's evil work is done!

All sin and heartache from the earth will be purged
And all who belong to God's Son encouraged
To reign with their Lord in a world now in peace
For all catastrophies and war will then cease.

Judgment fair and quick will be meted
And loved ones in Glory restored and greeted.
I'm looking forward to that wonderful day --
That you find this hope, I will fervently pray.
