When working on a puzzle, anticipation grows
Although you hold a crucial piece, you’re unsure where it goes

Life remains a puzzle that only God has solved
He knows before conflict begins, how it will be resolved

Within your deep uncertainty God’s perfect will is found
The light of sheer excitement shines where darkness did abound

What a thrill to know you’re covered by His mercy and His grace
To gently fit the piece you hold into His waiting space

Exhilaration fills you as your piece slips in just right
Lay before Him all life’s pieces; a seeking heart is His delight
