see your face

When I look at the wonders all around me
I see your face.
I imagine how you paint the sky with colours to brighten my day.
How you picked out that particular shade of blue for this day, never seeming to be the same, day after day.
Each time I have captured an image of nature in my mind
I see your face
As I gaze upon a starry sky I imagine the sparkle in your eyes lord and see your face.
Every time I hear the wind whistle through the trees
Lord I hear your gentle whisper of love for me.
As I smell the fragrance of a flowing shrub and its heady aroma cloaks me with its scent, I breathe you in lord.
Everytime I felt my unborn child kick and wondered at the miracle of it.
I felt your touch lord.
Each time I look into the faces of my children, I see your face lord.
Every time I am at the sea and I feel, smell and taste its salty kiss,
I see your face lord.
My senses are alive to you.
Every day in a thousand ways I touch, taste, smell, hear and see your face lord.
Many say to me, how can you believe in what you do not see?
But with my senses lord I have seen you face to face.
