THE POWERFUL VOICE OF GOD THROUGH US.
There is an abundance of voices, ideas, and opinions all around us, but very little of the voice of God. People are totally fed up with so much talk and little or no results. That is the difference between the creator's voice and the voice of the creature. Both can be loud or low, but only one registers and effectively produces results that remain PERMANENT!
Isaiah 55:11.
It is the same with my word, says the LORD, I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.
1 Samuel 3:19
And Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground.
John 6:63.
Jesus said, It is the Spirit Who gives life [He is the Life-giver]; the flesh conveys no benefit whatever [there is no profit in it]. The words (truths) that I have been speaking to you are spirit and life.
Acts 19:20.
So the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed.
God is a wonderful communicator, a passionate lover of people. People want to hear God speak. Let God speak through you, and love people through you, and inspire people through you.
God can speak through anyone and anything. He rebuked a false prophet through his donkey. Jesus Christ said stones would cry out and praise God if no one would. However, God desires to have people He would use, speak through and manifest Himself through on a regular basis. He wants faithful, willing and obedient ambassadors.
Isaiah 6:8
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me..
John 20:21
Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
If you're born again, having made Jesus Christ your Savior, you're ready. It's time to take a step further in your commitment and cooperation with God, be filled with the Holy Spirit, empowering you for service (Acts 1:8), and make Jesus Christ your Lord and Master. Determined to obey Him without reservation in all you do, and all He prompts and commands you to do. Be a willing and absolutely obedient vessel of God.
Every relationship is as strong as its level of commitment and close fellowship. It's no different with God. Even though Jesus was the Son of God and God incarnate, He demonstrated such a remarkably close fellowship with God the Father. Nothing less should be expected of us.
Luke 5:16
But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.
Luke 6:12-13
One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God. 13 When morning came, he called his disciples to him and chose twelve of them, whom he also designated apostles:
In a world where material possessions and endowment are esteemed over spiritual and divine benefits, it is normal to view spending more time and focus on building a sound, solid, cordial relationship with God through close fellowship, as abnormal. But Our Lord Jesus Christ who was the Son of God and God in the flesh didn't teach us that. He considered and taught that God's Kingdom affairs are far more important and paramount compared to anything else. God's Kingdom, entailing developing a healthy and deep relationship with God is first and foremost. That is why full time ministry for ministers, particularly those called into the five fold ministry which are the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. And I strongly recommend that every minister should employ or raise and work closely with an intercessory minister, full time.
From the Old Testament through to the New, no minister called by God, the prophets and priests, and those called by Jesus Christ, the apostles, remained in part time ministry. This is because ministry is God's business and that is the ultimate business. If you're in part time ministry, keep asking the Lord for wisdom, and keep working toward full time ministry commitment. All ministers should work closely with their intercessory ministers. God spoke to Moses face to face, he spent a total of 80 days in the mountain with God. Elijah, Elisha and other prophets, John the Baptist spent lots of time in God's presence in seclusion. Jesus Christ spent 40 days in seclusion and after that He withdrew to pray regularly. So was Peter and the apostles, and Paul went away to Arabia and Damascus for 3 years. No employment or secular business would allow or succeed with such time away, but such consecration is invaluable in getting close to God in order to speak for God with flawless accuracy. Full time ministry should be spent fully in the ministry of PRAYER and THE WORD of God to cause every word to be God's Word that can never return void in the name of Jesus Christ.
Matthew 6:32,33.
These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God[a] above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
Acts.6.3
Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business;
We must be wise and organized to edify and equip our people soundly enough to handle important delegated responsibilities, faithfully in order to free us up to focus on PRAYER and THE WORD OF GOD full time. That might sound like laziness and unimportant to carnal Christians and the world, but in God's Work and Kingdom, it's a secret of resounding success!
Acts 6:4,7.
Meanwhile, we ministers will stick to our assigned tasks of prayer and speaking God’s Word.” The Word of God prospered and spread. The number of disciples in Jerusalem increased dramatically. Not least, a great many priests(leaders ) submitted themselves to the faith.
