THE POWER OF HUMILITY!
There's this subtle dangerous force, a spiritual plague that pull people down into darkness and doom called Pride. This is a silent killer, a destiny destroyer and a radical impediment! Beware, it's your real enemy! We need to come down in order to go up, we don't climb trees from the top. Pride makes us more like Satan than the saints we are. Needless to say, it depletes our spiritual power and effectiveness! Remember that God promotes the humble without limits. With humility on your side, your promotion is due! See Proverbs 11:2; Proverbs 29:23.
A swollen head makes the crown unfit and so it loses the crown! Pride unleashes one invincible enemy against us. No, the enemy is not the nasty, insidious Devil, he’s not invincible. It’s God Almighty! Pride makes God our enemy! It’s absolutely impossible to succeed and keep our blessings when God becomes our enemy! But, humility or absolute obedience to God’s Word is an irresistible aroma that attracts the grace, glory, superabundant blessings and uncommon favor of God, Hallelujah!
Whenever we attempt to protect unrighteousness in our lives, we lose our divine protection. Our defenses become extremely porous! If we don't flee from these objects, enticements and seductions of sin, we'll start fleeing from Satan's regular attacks in terror, even though the righteous ought to be as bold as a lion!
You're too important in God's Kingdom to dabble in lying, stealing, fornication, pornography, homosexuality, lesbianism, bribery, pride, unforgiveness, lust, perversion, insolence, gossiping, drunkenness, wild parties etc. Remember Esau! See also Galatians 5:16-25; Joshua 7:10-13; Ephesians 4:17-32.
Thank God you’re full of His gentle Spirit that teaches us all things, leading us to our great inheritance in Christ Jesus, glory to God!
Humility is the secret infallible authority and power for greatness that many people will hardly know. It makes the oil of anointing flow more abundantly and faster. It enables us accomplish amazing and stupendous things for God in no time with little struggle! Though unwise people take the humble for granted, God doesn't! In fact He honors and promotes the meek terrifically. Swallowing our pride won't choke us I assure you. It's the entrance to great open doors, while self conceit and boasting are sure invitations to trouble. Without a shadow of a doubt, humility keeps Satan at bay! God's power manifests greatest when we're weakest, or most humble!
2 Corinthians 12:7-10.
So to keep me from becoming conceited or puffed up because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, being a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited and proud. Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect and more effective in your weakness or meekness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak or meek, then I am strong.

He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way. The LORD leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep his covenant and obey his demands.
Proverbs 22:4.
True humility and fear of the LORD lead to riches, honor, and long life.
James 4:6-10.
But he gives us even more grace to stand against such evil desires. As the Scriptures say, “God opposes the proud but favors the humble.” So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. Let there be tears for what you have done. Let there be sorrow and deep grief. Let there be sadness instead of laughter, and gloom instead of joy. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor.
