OUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN.
Every sin is a spiritual, eternal disease that leads to spiritual death and eternal damnation, but the blood of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God cleanses us from the deadly consequences. However, it takes faith or agreeing with God for us to receive this amazing and glorious benefit ALREADY given to everyone through the GRACE and MERCY, loving-kindness of God Almighty. Wholehearted repentance is what we must do to be in agreement with God.
1 Corinthians 6.9,10.
Do you not know that the unrighteous and the wrongdoers will not inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived (misled): neither the impure and immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who participate in homosexuality or sodomy, Nor cheats (swindlers and thieves), nor greedy graspers, nor drunkards, nor foulmouthed revilers and slanderers, nor extortioners and robbers will inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God.
John.8.10,11.
When Jesus raised Himself up, He said to her, (the woman caught in adultery).'Woman, where are your accusers? Has no man condemned you? She answered, No one, Lord! And Jesus said, I do not condemn you either. Go on your way and from now on sin no more.
2 Corinthians 7.10
Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.
No one, no hospital promotes disease, but healing. Should anyone, any Church promote any sin, a spiritual disease and not repentance, God's cure?
Our sins are forgiven. Now, repent and forsake ( turn away from) them in obedience to God.
Romans 6.1 - 8.
Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more kindness and forgiveness?
Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?
Or have you forgotten that when we became Christians and were baptized to become one with Christ Jesus, we died with him?
For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.
Since we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised as he was.
Rom.6.6 - Our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin.
And since we died with Christ, we know we will also share his new life.
Acts.20.21
I have had ONE message for Jews and Gentiles alike--the necessity of turning from sin through wholehearted REPENTANCE and turning to God, and of FAITH in our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 John.1.9,10.
But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong and unrighteousness.
If we claim we have not sinned, we are calling God a liar and showing that his word has no place in our hearts.
