Lonely Americans Are Now A Sixty-Percent Majority In Need Of Being Given Value

Through deep disappointments, lack of peer support, or just being thrown to the curb of society,

Sixty percent of our nation's citizens now feel depressed*, and a full 45% have been clinically diagnosed as suffering from depression.

This growing trend is not likely to lessen as these very vulnerable people will receive from our present social culture, but you can do a simple gesture of kindness to any of them, which is giving them value with a smile or a simple compliment.

“Today, give someone who needs it one of your smiles.  It may be the only sunshine he sees all day.”

Just that little boost will probably bring about a moment of personal value to the recipient and they may even respond with a smile in return.

* Untreated depression quickly advances into one or more serious mental illness conditions.  The increasing number of those suffering from depression does not bode well for America.
