THE BEAUTY OF CHRISTMAS- To Be In Him

 Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him,  rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
Colossians 2:6-7 ESV

  I take such delight during the advent time of year to participate in our Savior’s birthday celebration. Especially watching family open gifts on Christmas morning. I share with my younger grandchildren their excitement. I become a little boy all over again.

Today, as part of the ‘Family of God,’ through adoption from our Heavenly Father, we are blessed beyond measure, because of His choosing us. (Ephesians 1:4)  Better than a big gathering to party, is our gathering to truly worship and celebrate.   

 The Father purposed us to understand, the greatest event in world history. To come and celebrate our fellowship with the Son Elohim. (Most powerful), to present us God in the flesh. Our all-powerful, and our Emmanuel, (to be with us). Our gift Jesus, who is wisdom , grace, and love, without flaw of character. Perfect in every way for us.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9 ESV

Most certainly, this is majesty beyond description. Greater than the most gifted artist might put on canvas. We worship Him in Spirit and truth, by grace through faith. Believing without seeing. Jesus had no earthly royalty, so that we might become Spiritually Rich of this most precious gift, from our Heavenly Father.  ^‘For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.’ 2 Peter1:8

Lord in Heaven, thank you for allowing us to be in Him, and receive, your Son Emmanuel as our Redeemer, Jesus… who intercedes for us. Amen
