I will give you the Crown of life
When your Robes are washed
In the blood of the Lamb.
When you are bright and shining new
I will place the Royal Crown upon your head.
I will give you the Crown of life
When your sleep has ended below the willows
When your are lulled awake in the calm garden,
I will open up the marble stone
Breathe a new life into your soul
As you arise to a new body like mine.
I will give you the Crown of life
When I open the Book of Life
And find your name written in it.
When your heart has followed me
All through your years on earth,
Your noble deeds will be the key
To enter into the vast gates to reach my Home.
I will give you the Crown of life
When you see and know the signs in the sky.
When you see me coming on the clouds
When I wield the sickle to reap at the end of age
I will carry you right through the doors of Heaven.
I will give you the Crown of life
When you sit next to me at the great supper
When my angels wait upon you.
When you are dressed in the Wedding garment
Adorned to be mine forever
I will place the Crown for all times upon you.
