                                      Walk In Him!

Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. Colossians 2: 6,7 ESV

To ‘walk in Him’ really is not an abstract request once we understand and feel the very presence of God’s indwelling Spirit living in us. We really are set free, as promised the Jews who had believed in him. (John 8 :31-32)
We all fall short of  who God created us for, until we recognize within our heart the need and sufficiency to become a ‘new creature’ in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:17 )with our own profession to accept and obey the ‘Voice of His now indwelling Holy Spirit.’ Giving desire to know and become doer’s of His word. (James 1:22 Two of my sons, and one of my grandsons signed up for active duty in the military. I told them; ‘there’s a lot more than wearing the uniform!’

Wearing the name ‘Christian,’ there comes the responsibility to walk in Him in such a way as for others to also desire to become new in Jesus. Letting go the old fleshly desire of the ‘self-interest’ and worldly values to now find our sufficiency and worth from heavenly character qualities
Galatians 5:23-26 define for us fruit of God’s Spirit to be nourished from.

When taking employment with a firm or company, one becomes an integral part of that organization. Living  to ‘walk in Jesus,’  is a growing and learning to walk in Christ, from ‘new birth,’ as instructed from Jesus for each one of his follower’s become ‘doers of His word.’

Father… being built up and rooted in Jesus, having His word in our heart to live by, we truly are being transformed, letting go the old nature, to wear the name ‘Christian,’ as invitation for others and strengthening our faith you give to us to equip us with thanksgiving in our heart, men.
