We are all so familiar with this saying: 'God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.'

Let us pause and meditate on this simple yet POWERFUL truth.

Without the sacrifice of Christ Jesus, we are the beholder of all our sins and we deserve to die. Whether we believe in Jesus or not. His sacrifice is done for all our sins that God's free gift is made available to everyone. To everyone! His sacrifice of sin is completed through His shed blood. God's wrath is then satisfied. God is no longer angry because the sin has been PAID FOR.

Think again what if we don't receive this love and reject this truth? We will be indeed the beholder of our own sins and we will die both physically and spiritually, forever separated from the love of God. 

This is our certainty when we believe what Jesus has done for us!

'And since we have been made right in God's sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God's condemnation.' Romans 5:9

'So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.' Romans 5:11

By accepting God's free gift to us, we have his gift of 'righteousness' and we will live in triumph over sin and death through Jesus Christ. Amen. [See Romans 5:17]

We are having right standing with God only by believing what God has sent. God sent His only Son to die on our behalf. We need to make sure we do believe in this truth!

Let us rejoice!

'Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sins are put out of sight. Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of sin.' Romans 4:7-8

Always remember what the Lord has done for us. We are no longer condemned or found guilty in God's sight because of Christ Jesus. Always remember that we have been made right in God's sight by FAITH in Jesus Christ, we have PEACE WITH GOD because of Jesus Christ. Amen. This is indeed our undeserved privilege!

Therefore, no one can boast in front of God. It is all based on FAITH in Jesus Christ that we are saved by God's grace. Amen. God therefore has demonstrated His righteousness and fairness - He declared sinners to be right in His sight when they believe in Jesus. [See Romans 3:26-27]

We can confidently say today that we are blessed beyond the curse. Thanks be to God. Amen.
