Are you in a position to preach God's messages at church or in organisation? 
Preaching the truth is everyone's mission. Not just limited to preachers, or pastors in the church. As God's anointed one to preach His message, may we do it ever faithfully and carefully! 

Some preachers tend to marvel at the intelligence of 'men', the well-known theologians. Have you ever heard a sermon so full of such and such theologians and not so much about the Word of God in the Bible? Yes, I did. And that's what prompted me to write this article today.

Yes, quoting a few from the well-known theologians might be good for additional inspiration. But brothers and sisters, when we did it so excessively, it would just be a 'man' talk, not 'God' talk. We are told to point people to Christ, not to us or well-known preachers or theologians. Not to men, but to God. Let's look at our sharing or preaching to others, are we pointing people to God, to Christ, or to ourselves or other human beings? What so good about other human beings? Aren't those well-known preachers or theologians belong to God himself? Aren't their gifts and talents come from the Almighty God who is seated in Heaven? Who is greater? God himself or preachers or theologians? Are we to praise so much of another human beings, or are we supposed to give all HONOR AND GLORY to OUR GREAT GREAT GOD???!

The preacher at church was emphasising so much on the well-known theologians and famous preachers on TV. He applaused their intelligence and wisdom in their words or insight. Back to the point, who gave them the intelligence and wisdom? Isn't it our Almighty God? Or do we think even a minute what we have come from ourselves? Shall we hand over all the credits to the God who loves us so much? Shall we not give Him the rightful thanks and praise? As God's people, in whatever we do, we are nothing without God. We are indeed nothing without God. 

Let us remain faithful in preaching the Word of God to others, not to quote what other people say, be faithful in studying the Word of God, spend the time digging deeper into the Word of God, not quoting somebody else's. The Holy Spirit will guide us into all understanding, no copying is needed. Let us share what God would love you to share with the congregation, let the Word of God be the shining light to the congregation. For only the Word of God contains the power to change! Other preachers or theologians have no power to change, only the Spirit of God does. Give Him your proper respect and adoration. He alone is worthy, He alone is GREAT.

Hebrews 4:12, 'For the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.'

2 Timothy 3:16, 'All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness...'

Revelation 22:18, 'I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book..'

Deuteronomy 4:2, 'You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you.'

Psalm 119:105, 'YOur word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.'

2 Peter 1:16, 'For we did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty.'

Matthew 24:35, 'Heaven and earth will pass away, but my Words will not pass away.'

Matthew 4:4,' but he answered, 'it is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.'

May we listen to the Word of God alone, may we be inspired by the Word of God alone. His Word is 'life' to us all. Praise God!

Preach faithfully - learn and study His words continously.
