Life in this world is full of drama
There are perils of deception and deceit
I'm hiding in the shadows of the daylight
Praying over every challenge I meet.

The daylight casts a shadow off of evil
Beware of all the shadows that surrounds us
The shadows look like money, sex and sin
I am hiding in the shadows but full of fear

In the daylight so much evil is going on
The pleasures of this world are good and bad
It is the shadows of the daylight I am afraid of
Which causes conflict and leaves me feeling sad.

When my time on earth is finally over
I will move up to God's heavenly home
Up there, there are no shadows of the daylight
There is no fear and I am never alone.

God's house is full of God's light
There are no shadow and no need to hide
There is only joy and overflowing happiness
I've found God and he lives inside

I'm not hiding in the shadows of the daylight
I don't have to live my life in fear
I will rest forever in the house of God
And smile when I see God appear.
