Wouldn’t you agree that it's not quite Spring until the song birds sing once again to mark winter’s end?  And don’t you enjoy the way they start their birdsongs every morning just before dawn?  

As a part of our Father’s intelligent design of His creations, it is the pre-dawn infrared light of the sun that precedes the visible light of day, that arouses birds into their songs to attract mates and to let the other males know they will defend their territories.

And when all of the songs of the other songbird species come into this mix of an early morning symphony of sounds, then we have what the Ornithologists call the “Dawn Chorus”.

“The morning chorus, it's the most natural soundtrack on Earth, which is just so wonderful.” .. Mike Webster, Ornithologist, Cornell Lab of Ornithology.

Our Father has also designed a highly effective wellness measurement into the calls of His songbirds, which is this:  the more numerous the bird songs are within a given environment, the healthier that environment is.

"The birds of the sky nest beside the waters; they sing among the branches."   Psalm 104:12 NLV

So if you are one to dismiss this “morning chorus” as a mere cacophony of noise and chatter, please just take the time to listen to and understand the meaning and purposes of "birdsong".  You may enjoy the experience and even gain a better appreciation of how Father’s hand is upon all of the natural world around you.
