              How DO Followers Of Jesus Walk?

This is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel
after those days, says the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Hebrews 8:10 RSV

In my own quiet moments of daily time alone, I purpose to listen to the ‘voice of His Spirit and Word.’ I ask our Lord, “Is this what I hear you saying to me….”? Is my faith given me from God (Romans 12:3) genuine?  Is my heart evidence for living in God’s sufficiency alone, (2 Corinthians 12:9) or, the result of strength and my will of human reasoning from fleshly desire?

Being intellectually honest with myself is a growing and learning process. A lifelong living out my experiences to prove my worth. Not wanting to be a stumbling block to those I  love that surround me every day, and those I fellowship with each week at worship.

I’m so thankful God brings me His grace awakening to correct and lead me the way I ought… more than the way I want!

We live in a society what some call ‘Cancel Culture.’ So much like what the Book of Judges speaks about; ‘that everything is right in one’s own eyes.’ The non believing world about us find no reason for absolute’s of believing the bible as ‘God Breathed, or inspired by God, ’to live by. (2 Timothy 3:16, 17 NIV)

 Remember, our Message is not about ourselves; we’re proclaiming Jesus Christ, the Master. All we are is messengers, errand runners from Jesus for you. It started when God said, “Light up the darkness!” and our lives filled up with light as we saw and understood God in the face of Christ, all bright and beautiful. 2 Corinthians 4:5-6 MSG

Father, thank you for your word in my heart, learning to be a doer of your word.
