How Much More
Three simple words! Jesus couldn’t have used any words more powerful than those three.
Obviously Jesus knew that when a sinner is saved they immediately receive the Holy Spirit.
So in this ‘How much more’ challenge, is he telling his disciples that they can be filled with the Holy Spirit repeatedly during the rest of their lives?
“How much more!” seems to express our Father’s eagerness for each of us to thirst for his river of life to flow into us again and again.
Do I feel my need for God’s life-giving Spirit to come into me every day?
Precious!
“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” Luke 11:13 NKJV
