For the grace of God has appeared,
Brings salvation for all people;
All of those who have revered,
For believing in the Gospel.

He is teaching us to renounce,
Deny godless worldly motives;
And a willingness to pronounce,
For the triune God that forgives.

Live soberly and righteously,
To be self-controlled and upright;
In this present world as godly,
Using a spiritual insight.

So wait for our blessed hope,
Glorious appearing of God;
And presently, we learn to cope,
Continuing to honor and laud.

For Christ gave Himself to redeem,
For us from all the lawlessness;
To purify and reign supreme,
A chance to become flawlessness.
