Your love meets me in the morning
When the night lifts it's lacy veil,
The face of the sun shines through
Happiness spreads its pace around.
Your love meets me in the morning
Morning is the best time of the day.
The soul awakens, the heart has rested
Emotions are on a jogging trail.
Your love meets me in the morning
The day brings its own chosen colour,
The rainbow of joy lines our hearts.
A bow joins us from one end to the other.
Your love meets me in the morning
The green trees freshen around.
The birds speak about us among themselves
The bark of wood identifies with our strong love.
Your love meets me in the morning
Before my heart can meet anyone else,
It is drawn up in time by your heart
Heart to heart we welcome the morn.
Life gets its energy from the robust dawn.
Your love meets me in the morning
Like a gladdened garden
Like the opening of shy flowers,
Like the hush of leaves
Love speaks to love in a crush of souls.
