The three roses
On a plain white cloak
Of a lady more beautiful than the sun.
Three roses near her heart.
White, red and golden yellow.
The three roses
Speak of their own colours.
White rose for prayer.
Red rose for sacrifice.
Golden yellow for penitence.
The three roses
On a woman come from heaven.
Call her Rosa Mystica!
She comes to plead for her son
Descends to earth to implore to all.
The three roses
On a woman filled with tears.
Tears of blood, tears of sorrow
Those gone far away from God
To bring them back is an urgent need.
The three roses
On a woman standing on a staircase
People throng, people are cured
A miraculous chapel receives high favours.
Favours from the highest intercessor
For God himself cannot refuse her.
The three roses
To offer prayers for the chosen ones
Sanctification of those who alone
Can intermediate to change bread and wine.
The three roses
Makes beautiful the Mediatrix of all graces.
Her son is the Mediator between the Father and the world.
Blessings flow and pour at special hours.
The three roses
Also speaks of love in plenty
The three fragrant roses
Mystical, pure and fresh always.
Flowers from heaven do not fade
Like love the petals glow and shine
Until we shine with the Lady of Roses
Her mystery revealed at last.
