GOD’S SPIRIT NEVER DEPARTS FROM US

Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? Psalms 139:7 NASB 1995

God is always and in all ways present in us to lead and strengthen the resolve of our faith. To give to us and for us. From Luke nine we can understand His mandate to becoming a true follower of Jesus.  

And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, he is the one who will save it.  For what is a man profited if he gains the whole world, and loses or forfeits himself?  For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when He comes in His glory, and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels. 
Luke 9:23-29 NASB

I listen to folks share with me thoughts of the individual heart, and recognize too many live more in fear than trusting faith of God’s authority and promise.

For sure, becoming a new creation in Jesus must be recognized as living out our lives by strength and obedience learning to become a doer of His word. (James 1:22) Through Joshua’s leading, the Israelites were to conquer those nations  around them, before they could live at peace in the ‘promised Land.’   

Nor can we  go from the presence of The Living Spirit, and succeed on our own. ‘Denying self,’ does not mean we have no right to choose. But only to understand God don’t make mistakes when He leads.  

There is no fear or shame recognizing God’s Spirit is there before us, never to flee from our presence.

Father, open our hearts to understand your leading, as your Spirit is before us in all our ways, AMEN
