The kiss of the spirit
Is a gentle fleeting kiss.
It softly touches and awakens us
To further rouse our soul within us.
The kiss of the spirit
Is a swift whispering kiss.
It prompts us to choose the better part
The part which will open our eyes to his words.
The kiss of the spirit
Is a strong powerful kiss.
It flames our hearts as the fire burns
A fire that makes us so bold
That we can witness to any end of the earth.
The kiss of the spirit
Is the kiss of the Trinity.
A pure kiss giving us the same spirit
A spirit that gives us life
A spirit that can put back life into us.
The kiss of the spirit
Is the breath of God creating us in his image.
The kiss of the spirit
Is the love of Christ who laid down his life for us.
The kiss of the spirit
Is the admirable blessing from atop.
The kiss of the spirit
Is a kiss that we too have to respond
In a full hearted response, a total kiss from our soul.
