I am the mustard seed
I have to grow into the tallest tree.
I am the mustard seed
My faith should be strong enough
For others to take shade in it and grow
Reach the sky with their own big faith.
I am the sower's seed
I have to make sure that my heart
Is the good soil for the Word to grow.
I am the sower's yield
I have to reap a thousand corns.
I am the pearl of the sea
My soul should be priceless
Of far greater worth than any,
When I allow the Lord's love
To polish and shine over me.
I am the golden field
My heart should hold the treasures
The gems of the kingdom of God.
Those who find me should leave all else
And embrace Christ as I have done.
I am the wooden boat
Christ should travel within me
So he can reach far and wide
To preach his words on the seas and shores.
I am the well of Jacob
Holding the springs of flowing waters
Quenching the thirst of those who come,
Who come to draw the living waters
And run to give it to others as well.
