Now is the time to pray
Here and now, not later
Not on any other day.
For that fateful day that will come
Sudden and quick upon us
It will give us no time to repent and pray.
Now is the time to live
To do what we have set our mind upon.
To let our heart go along with the breeze
To do what our soul prompts from within.
For once the time is gone, it will not come again.
Now is the time to turn back
Run down the path in full speed,
Back into his loving arms
He has waited so long for this prodigal moment.
Now is the time
To gaze into the heavens
To wonder at what lies beyond.
To ensure that we make it there someday
No sin to stop or block our way.
Now is the time to love
To declare in words, show in deeds
To express here and now.
When the time is right, when love is in sight.
Let love be the centrepiece of the moment.
