As Life Goes on
We will pacify our hearts
That though things did not turn out
The way we would have loved it to be,
We still have the occuring moments of joy
Which made up in a way to a great extent.
As Life Goes on
And days turn in and turn out,
As years do their swaying part
And sign out in heavily inked memories,
We will make our hearts understand
That this was the way it was meant to be.
As Life Goes on
We will see the scene from a different angle.
Our ways are not the Lord's ways
His ways are higher than ours.
But he still wants to give the best to us
So we will find the best in what he gave us.
As Life Goes on
Some mysteries of time will remain unclear
Some puzzles will never be solved.
But the words of today will add a flavour
A meaning if we search deep enough
Will present the most precious found pearl.
As Life Goes on
We will gather all the months of the year
Into the soulful vault of our hearts.
The value of which will be the highest in life
For love was the capital theme at any time
The rewards of which were a priceless life.
As Life Goes on
We will wonder on what is to come
We will speak gently to our senses
That God is setting all the scenes.
If we are seeded in the blessing ground of love forever
The matured tree at the end of life
Will be the generation reigning one.
