Come and see
What the Lord has done for me.
Come and see
What he told me about me.
Come and see
How he turned my world around.
Come and see
How he brought a living back into my life.
Come and see
How he has made the blind see.
How the lame has jumped
How the crippled sat up and walked.
Come and see
How he rolled the stone away.
Called Lazarus to come out of the depths
Allowed his sisters to see his glory
The people awed and wowed.
Come and see
How he turned the water into wine.
Six stone barrels full a miracle wrought.
This wine became the best wedding wine.
Come and see
How he himself came out from the dark.
He went down, rose again and what a rising!
His neatly folded cloth placed inside the tomb
A sign that he would return again.
Come and see
He is going back into the sky.
Ascending to where he came from
To come a second time in the same way.
Angels are so close at hand to trumpet this day.
Come and see
The tongues of fire that have come down
Resting to anoint with a filling power.
To go out bold, preach and save
The chosen ones to gather safe.
