The heavens declare
The glory of the Risen One.
The firmaments speak
In tongues louder than the universe.
The heavens declare
What has come to pass.
The heavens declare
What is going to last.
The heavens cheered and clapped
The heavens smiled and cried,
For the one who accomplished
What began in the creation story
Making humans right with God.
The heavens spinned
The heavens gasped.
The heavens remained silent
When his head was bowed down.
The heavens looked up
The Angels cheered again,
When the third day came
And the Lord rose on his own.
A grand celebration supervened in heaven.
The heavens declared
The final meaning of Love.
The tree of life once in the garden of Eden
Then in Bethlehem and Calvary
Now at the right hand side of God.
The heavens will always declare
The name of the Lamb who rules.
He rules forever on his throne
Still spotless, pure and right.
He rules with the resurrection might.
