Tagbha
On the beautiful bay of Galilee.
Taghba
Where the Lord performed miracles near the sea.

Tagbha
Where five loaves and two fishes
Turned into five thousand and more
The bread of life fed all, satisfied them to the core.

Tagbha
A mosaic present till date
Of how once our Lord in symbol did,
What his risen body would do for years to come
Feeding us all until we reached our home.

Tagbha
The Risen Jesus stood on the shore
Helped Peter and John to once more cast their nets,
Bringing them back to the work at hand
His kingdom to continue as per his saving plan.

Tagbha
Where Peter recognised the Lord
Ran from the sea to the shore.
Breakfast with the Lord the mission of that day
Prepared by the hands once nailed on another day.

Tagbha
Jesus reconfirms Peter's love
His primacy set firm in that hour.
As solid as the rocks on lake Tiberias
Peter declares his love for Christ.

Tagbha
Jesus commissions Peter
To feed his lambs, look after his sheep.
He would soon ascend from where he came
But they had a lot more to do in his name.

Tagbha
Jesus foretells the end
How it will be for both Peter and the rest
After they have all given their best,
To be led where they would not want to go
But still the seeds of the kingdom they will sow
To give their life, amidst all strife

Tagbha
An endless shore where the waters still hold
The memories of their Master long ago.
His footprints on the sand and shells
His life amongst us till today it dwells.
