‘An Apple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away.’
Hallelujah!
But is it true?
The first record of the saying dates from the later 19th century.
But is it true?
God created apples as he made all living food to be vital for human and animal living.
In 2013 a scientific study compared eating a daily apple with taking a daily cholesterol-lowering drug. It found that eating an apple a day by people over 50 was as beneficial as using a statin drug to reduce low-density lipoprotein cholesterol.
The study concluded that eating an apple a day "Is able to match modern medicine and is likely to have fewer side effects."
Another study in 2015 found apple eaters "Were more likely, in the crude analysis, to
keep the doctor (and prescription medications) away."

Genesis 1:12 tells us that “The earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.”
Yes! It certainly was good.

Personally, I can testify to the healing power of God’s living food. In my early teens I suffered a lot with chilblains on my ears, and no medical remedy was effective. However, my elderly grandmother remembered from many years ago that the juice of houseleek (sempervivum tectorum) mixed with cream would cure chilblains. And it did! Praise the Lord!

About 10 years ago a lump on my forehead was diagnosed as a basal cell carcinoma and I was booked into a hospital to have it removed. However, I went on a strict 90% raw living diet and, praise the Lord, after 10 days, the lump dropped off!
No doubt many of you could give similar testimonies.

The apple adage is true.

“But to you who fear my name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings.” Malachi 4:2.
