MOMENT IN TIME

I cannot relive today
when it's gone, it's gone
a brief moment in time-
24 hours in this life of mine.

24 hours to live and breathe
of thoughts to think
of choices to make
of love to give
or hate to unleash.

These 24 hours of mine
are like a vapor in the wind-
a snapshot in my mind
the ticking of a clock
I can never rewind.

24 hours to live and breathe
to make a difference for Eternity.
When it's gone, it's gone-
a brief moment in time
24 hours in this life of mine.
