                     EVERYBODY Is God’s SOMEBODY

Do you ever consider, God made each one of us a Somebody, because God does not make ‘Nobody’s.’  From the Book of Ephesians it says,
 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10

Before we were born, before our own parents ever met. God knew us! For sure, nothing can or ever will separate us from God’s purpose and love. God’s promises are not temporary, nor are they perishable.

Consider the Canaanite woman who was not fearful to confront Jesus, the Son of God in her presence. Her daughter, oppressed by an evil spirit, wasn’t at all concerned what others thought of her. What they might do to her. She knew the one who could make a new life for her daughter. Even though the people regarded her as a ‘Nobody.’

On top of what was happening here, about the Canaanite woman…   the disciples seemed to champion the cause of the people saying, “Send her away, she’s just some pest, don’t bother with her… she’s not even a good Jewish lady!” 

How much we can learn from courage and trust, from this Canaanite castaway, this ‘Somebody? She came publicly, with so much love for her daughter she was willing to approach Jesus, regardless of her own life.  

Whether before Royalty of God in prayer, or any other individual of need, let’s act not in anger, or haughtiness. Our Father desires a surrendered heart, submissive to Him. God examines our heart more than anything else about us.

Because He regards every one as His special ‘Somebody,’ God does not look at anyone as a ‘Nobody!’  Amen
