   “Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father; there is one who accuses you – Moses, in whom you trust. For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?” John 5: 45-47

   The Jews revered Moses but apparently they neglected to see his testimony about the coming Saviour in the light of Jesus.

   They had fabricated a saviour that bore very little resemblance to Jesus and the prophecies and foretelling of His arrival. The true Saviour was not known by them by choice for He was plainly portrayed by Moses whose teaching they followed religiously but also in darkness.

   Jesus would not need to accuse them for Moses already had grounds to in their blind-eyed and dull-hearted response to his teaching.

   We have so much opportunity to know of Jesus but we must not fall short in knowing Him aright. He has not left us that option.
