Taking hold the ‘hem of Jesus,’ through faith, is just the beginning of our lifelong journey. We come to discover God never operates in our lives without His purpose. The more we’re digesting God’s leading, we come to understand our ‘new birth’ is meant to deliver us from the darkness of the world around us. To separate from.

Becoming a ‘new creature’ in Christ, ( 2 Corinthians 5:17) begins to define for us; how God’s love begins to chip away the dross of our past. That we understand how to ‘put on the new.’  

Through love and grace we’re becoming a doer of God’s promise’s (James1:22). Our lord does indeed lead us. Learning to become a ‘doer’ of God’s promises lessens the discomfort one might fear from seasons of feeling … “Why Me Lord?”

To be ‘crushed by God,’ is not to be defined as destroyed! But only to understand and recognize, God disciplines those He loves, as a father training and correcting his children. As father of five, I’ve learned how to love each one of my children as individuals of their own. Because God made them His own!

Faith that God is always in control will enable us each to endure. He works his best for us regardlessof our ability to understand his way to lead us. It’s up to us to be patient, because God is not finished with yet.

Father, thank you for crushing me in those seasons of uncertainty, chipping away my will to become a better doer of your will.
