Psalm 147:3-5 (KJV)


….. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever. (Psalm 30:12) (KJV)


Jesus, Today, just as always, I am thankful for your hand, so tender, gracious, so real, your precious nail-scarred hand, able to save and to heal. I thank you so much for the many lives and hearts your hand has come to touch, Only one of those is mine, you are the Light of the world, and you will always be there to shine, you do so unlike any other, you are a heavenly Father to us, and a friend that sticks closer than any brother. Thank you Jesus for your hand that reached way down for even me, you brought healing on my broken road, then you saved me, you set me free, and now I want everyone to see, that you can do for them, what you did for me. Because I remember where you brought me from, out of my struggles, my depths of despair, and also my going through the motions of religion, still you were always there. You were waiting to get my attention, waiting for that precious moment in time, when you would draw me in to you, and reach down with your hand to take mine. And when that moment finally came, we walked together, I knelt down before you, I had the audience of One, I asked you to save me, and I became your son. This is the power of grace, and today again, God, I want to thank you for your hand, your hand that gave to me the three gifts of hope and healing and of salvation, within a dry and thirsty land. Now I find in you all I need, both in this life, and the one to come, You have brought joy into my heart, You have always been there for me, I bow my head and am thankful for the hand of my audience of One. Thank you for helping me through, and for turning things around, for redeeming this heart and life of mine, Oh! Amazing Grace! How precious and priceless this sound, as well as the touch of His merciful hand, the hand of the One who is so good to us all, to even me, the hand of the One whose eyes can see us in such a way no mortal one can ever see. What eyes of compassion and love, what a hand of grace, He shows up in every life, His presence is there, in whatever situations we face. So Father, we want to thank you one more time for your mighty and tender hand, a hand that has helped us through time and time again, thank you so much for reaching down our lives to touch, for being bound to the cross, for a people who were lost, dying and rising again in complete victory, for everyone, for whosoever, especially this whosoever, me.
