When one starts reading the word of God and starts to receive from it, he becomes a lethal weapon against the darkness. The Word is what makes one a spiritual warrior. A warrior well equipped to tackle the tactics of the evil one. His strength is not limited to his muscles but resides in his spirit and soul—not in his mind but in his heart. He walks by faith and not by sight. He endures by the living Word and not by a temporal sword. He does works that are greater than his human might and has a greater impact than his human potential. Even though a spiritual warrior knows his potential in Christ, he walks with humility. He shapes up his mind and soul to receive from the Lord, and his heart stays receptive towards His Word. He receives comfort from God’s agape love which sustains his life. Even as he feeds on food to sustain his body, he receives spiritual food and strength from the promises of the Lord. The Lord finds pleasure in strengthening his warriors through having a personal relationship with Him.

 

While we live in this flesh, we are all spiritual beings, and those who know the Lord are spiritual warriors indeed, created for a purpose. Train yourself in a spiritual way to remain focused on the will of the Lord and finish His work assigned to you.
