Trembling?

It is so easy to take God and his word lightly.
So easy to read it, think about it, even talk about it, and yet too often we do not take it seriously.
So easy to get it in our heads but not into our hearts.

The prophet Isaiah declares:
“Hear the word of the Lord, you who tremble at His word.” 66:5
“But on this one will I look: On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at my word.” 66:2.

Our all-knowing God and Father defines those who take his word seriously as those who TREMBLE at his word!
God means what he says!
Surely, if we claim to be saved, born again Christians, one of God’s true people, more than anyone else we should take his word very seriously indeed.
Many of us, I’m sure need to tremble a lot more.
Praise the Lord for his patience with me!
