There is a Lad

“There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?” John 6:9.

Unnamed.
Unheard of again.
But vital.

Jesus was sitting on a mountainside with his disciples.
Crowds of people were coming towards him.
“Where shall we buy bread that these may eat?” Jesus asked his disciple Philip.
Philip didn’t have a clue.
Another disciple, Andrew, said to Jesus, “There is a lad here…”
And 5,000 people were given enough to eat, and more than enough!
Today our Saviour can still do mighty miracles through very unimportant people and very small things.
Praise His Name!
