Cut, Cut, Pluck!

No half-measure remedies with Jesus!
“If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off!”
“If your foot causes you to sin, cut it off!”
“If your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out!”

In Mark 9:43-48, our Saviour emphasises the seriousness of sin.
He is pointing out the easy beginnings of sin.
We can use our hands to do sinful things via keypads among other things.
We can use our feet to go into places which are dens of evil.

We can use our eyes to look at things which provoke us to do bad things.

Jesus is urging us to take very serious action to counteract our natural sin-filled tendencies.

Be willing to cut, cut, and pluck.
For His sake.
